23rd of September 2014 - Razvan Stuparu, dentist, and Vlad Grigore, trainer and project manager, are going to Peru, to another spectacular adventure, this time on three wheels. The team will cross 3,500 km in an expedition in Peru, with a mototaxi as the mean of transportation, using their own route: official departure from Colan following Piura, Cajamarca, Huaraz, Huanuco, Huancayo to Cusco next to Machu Pichu. Besides the unique experiences of this journey, Razvan Stuparu and Vlad Grigore aim to sustain the awareness regarding children's problems in Romania, supporting the Child Helpline Association’s cause (

Razvan and Vlad participated in 2013 at the biggest charitable rally of the world, The Mongol Rally, where they drove over 19,120 km from London, UK, to Ulan Bator, Mongolia, having crossed 21 countries to finally donate their car to a local Mongol community.

“If 2013 meant to take a city car and to lead it to Mongolia, this year we are taking off its doors, one of the wheels, and we are drastically cutting its engine displacement from 1200 cc to 125 cc in order to travel with it on the Pan-American Highway, crossing the Peruvian Andes and the Amazonian jungle. Through this project, we are supporting the Child Helpline Association because we want to help the children who are finding themselves in difficult situations”, explains Vlad Grigore.

Thus, the Peru race with the mototaxi will have as charitable cause the Child Helpline Association, whose aim is to ensure a real and immediate support to children, through its free, unlimited and confidential helpline 116 111.

This year expedition’s name is “Mototaxi Junket”, will start on the 27th of September and will 20 teams from all over the world, being organized by The Adventurists, also the coordinators of The Mongol Rally.

A mototaxi is a mean of transportation, usually three-wheeled cabin cycle, which cannot be driven with more than 30km/hour. It is known worldwide on several names, such as rickshaw or tuk-tuk.

In 2012, the two created “Today You Can Do Anything” online platform which include the website: and the facebook page: Through this platform, Razvan and Vlad wish to inspire other people to get involved in other communities, to participate to this kind of activities and support charity causes they believe in.
